Operations Manager & Co-Owner

Shanice A.

Shanice is the Co-Owner and Operations Manager of Terri’s Helping Hand Home Care Agency, a company named in loving memory of her mother, Terri, who passed away from ovarian cancer in 2011. Helping care for her mother during her final days deeply shaped Shanice’s purpose and inspired her to dedicate her life to supporting others in need of compassionate, dignified care.

With a strong background in leadership and operations, Shanice oversees daily services, staff support, and care standards to ensure every client receives respectful, reliable, and personalized care. She believes home care is more than a service—it’s a promise to treat every individual with empathy, dignity, and heart.

Through thoughtful leadership and a genuine passion for service, Shanice continues to carry her mother’s legacy forward by creating a caring environment where clients feel valued and families feel supported.

Administrative Director & Co-Owner

Beverly L.

Beverly is a registered nurse and psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience working with patients and families across emergency departments and inpatient hospital settings. She has also worked extensively as a care manager, conducting home visits and coordinating care across medical, psychiatric, and community-based services. This experience has given her firsthand insight into the real-world challenges patients face once they return home.

Throughout her career, Beverly has provided care during some of the most vulnerable moments in patients’ lives, developing a deep understanding of the medical, emotional, and social barriers that often interfere with safe recovery after hospital discharge. Her background in psychiatric care further informs her holistic, patient-centered approach.

Recognizing the ongoing need for consistent, compassionate support beyond the hospital setting, Beverly wanted to be able to provide this service to individuals and families in their own homes. This home care service was established to address a critical gap in care, with a focus on promoting healing, independence, and dignity. By combining hospital-based experience with hands-on home care and care management expertise, Beverly provides comprehensive support that helps clients remain safely in their homes while reducing preventable hospital readmissions.
